If you’re like me, then your drop shot tackle needs a new home. I often find myself rooting around in large tackle boxes for drop shot hooks that slid from one compartment to the next. For this reason, I picked up the SPRO Terminal Tackle box and began using it for my drop-shot gear and I have to say this little box is pretty impressive. Its sleek and looks cool (I’m a sucker for anything green). It’s what I needed for all those tiny hooks and weights – a compact, well-built little box for the smallest arsenal. A few features really stand out about this box:
Construction & Size

The box is well built – period. You can drop it, and odds are it’ll be fine. The latches hold well and clamp down on a rubber seal that encircles the box protecting it from moisture. The interior opens to two spring-loaded, plastic doors that fling open upon the pull of a latch on either side. The compartment patricians are removable. I’ve been using it so far for drop shot hooks and weights. But it would be prefect for small swivels, flipping weights, and split shot bebe weights. As a result of the small size, storing it is easy.
It can easily be thrown into a tackle bag or pack. I can slip in in the top pouch of the Evolution Outdoor Drift Series Backpack and still find it with ease due to the bright green coloring. The dimensions of the smallest version are 4.4″x 3.1″ x 1.5″so it’s pretty small. But it’s worth it for anyone looking to reorganize their smallest tackle. You can use it as your storage for extra tackle such as pegs, split rings, nail weights, etc.
Easy To Use

It’s easy to make a fast hook change by grabbing the box flipping it open and grabbing what I need. The latches are designed similar to the one-hand motion of a plano box. I can easily get in and get out with the assistance of the spring-loaded lids. They also clamped down nicely and maintain everything inside without any unwanted transfer of tackle. Removing the dividers is easy and makes for a perfect way to increase space. This is a storage box I would recommend for anyone looking for a dedicated drop shot tackle box, or anyone with the need for small storage.

That is slick – I didn’t even know SPRO made tackle boxes. Good tip. Thanks!
